Drew Epting

While I was a freshman on the Augusta State University baseball team I came to know Christ through a Bible study led by a former baseball player involved with Campus Outreach. That year we began to meet together.  I learned how to grow in my relationship with Christ through God’s Word and God began to grow my heart for evangelism and discipleship. God used my life on the baseball team to lead other men to Christ, and as I began to meet with them, teaching them what I had learned, He grew my vision for living a life that impacted eternity by investing my life in others, who will invest there lives in others. Through discipleship on the campus and summer training programs God has used the ministry of Campus Outreach to grow me in leadership, to equip me to impact others for Christ, and to give me a vision for reaching the world with the gospel.

God has now called me to go on staff with Campus Outreach and continue to work with college students, helping them know Christ and make Him known. I believe God is using Campus Outreach to “glorify Himself by building laborers on the campus for the lost world” and that he has called me to be a part of taking the gospel to the ends of the earth by giving my life to college students and helping them grow to maturity. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” Matthew 28:19-20.
