Josh and Lindsay Garrett

I was raised in a Christian home my whole life.  I thought that as long as I pleased every one around me then I would be accepted.  I did this all through High School until a co-worker at the restaurant I was working at started a Bible Study after work.  I knew there was something different about Him.  He lived as though he had no need to gain the approval of men.  He had already been accepted by God.  I wanted that.  One night at work I prayed to God and offered Christ Lordship over my life.  I asked Him to cover my sins and to have authority in my life.  Since then God has shown me more and more about His Holiness, My sin and the magnitude of the gift in Christ Jesus.

My vision is that by God's grace I will live the rest of my life in light of that gift and all of the promises that are mine in Christ.  I want to live by faith in those promises.  I pray that as a result of my life, Others would see that there is nothing that they can do to win a holy God's acceptance on their own.  But that it has already been earned in the perfect life, death and resurrection of Christ.  I want to make disciples of Christ (even as Christ Himself did) on the College Campus and everywhere the Lord would Call me.  I pray that others would see God's holiness, their own sinfulness, the great gift in Christ, repent and confess Christ as Lord and seek to know Him and Make Him known all of their lives.
