Kelly Cheek

Before coming to Christ, I believed being a Christian was about doing the right thing and being a good person.  But through the involvement of two girls in Campus Outreach that lived on my dorm hall in my freshman year of college, the Lord revealed the truth to me that it is by grace through faith that we are saved (Eph. 2:8-9)!  There is nothing I could ever do to “earn” my salvation—it is faith in Christ alone!

Ever since then I have been involved with Campus Outreach.  I have gone on two summer beach projects, and to South Africa with CO.  It was in South Africa that I really began to feel God pulling me to go into full-time ministry with Campus Outreach.  When I was over there, I got a small taste of what it is like to be on staff, and I could not think of anything that produced as much excitement and desire for my life.

Updated Prayer Requests:

1.For Kelly’s intimacy with Christ — that He would be the unrivaled object of her affection.

2. For Kelly’s financial support — that God would continue to reveal Himself to her as the Lord that provides.

3. Pray that His name would go forth and accomplish its task on the campus of Augusta State University. (Isaiah 55:11)

4. Pray that God would use Kelly to make a lasting impact on the campus at Augusta State.
