Marianne Dorner The Lord gripped my heart when I was young, and by His grace, I became a Christian as a child. God used my involvement in First Baptist Church’s youth group to develop my personal relationship with Him and cultivate a heart for mission work and evangelism. When I went off to college in the fall of 2003 at Valdosta State University, I knew I wanted to continue to grow in my walk with the Lord. God led me to become involved with Campus Outreach, and through summer training programs and discipleship on the campus, I took leaps of growth in my relationship with Christ. God also used this ministry to equip me to impact others and give me a vision for His eternal kingdom. Recently, God has called me to go on staff with Campus Outreach and commit to full-time collegiate ministry. I believe God is using Campus Outreach to lead people to Himself and grow them to maturity in Him, and I am excited that He has called me to be a part of His work through this ministry. “We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.” Colossians 1:28

Updated Prayer Requests 1. For Marianne’s intimacy with Christ — that he would be the unrivaled object of her affection. 2. For Marianne’s financial support — that God would continue to reveal himself to her as the Lord that provides. 3. Pray that His name would go forth and accomplish its task on the campus of Valdosta State. (Isaiah 55:11) 4. Pray that God would use Marianne to make a lasting impact on the campus at Valdosta State.
